Allison Chiropractic is a participating provider for Medicare, UPMC and UPMC for Life, and all auto insurance carriers. Most plans, even the in-network plans, have deductibles and co-payments that we can either match, or actually improve upon. In many cases our care will be more affordable than in your network. Call us for more information about your specific plan and our Wellness Program. The insurance carriers will pay for what they call ‘active care’. Much of chiropractic care is considered by insurance as maintenance . According to the Center for Medicare they define maintenance care as – ” Maintenance therapy is defined as a treatment plan that seeks to prevent disease, promote health, and prolong and enhance the quality of life: or therapy that is performed to maintain or prevent deterioration of a chronic condition. When further clinical improvement cannot reasonably be expected from continuous ongoing care, that the chiropractic care becomes supportive rather than corrective in nature, the treatment is then considered maintenance therapy. Chiropractic maintenance therapy is not considered medically reasonable or necessary, and is therefore not payable.”
How Much Does It Cost To Start Care at Allison Chiropractic Center?
Initial Visit – $65.00 – This one-time fee includes the initial consultation, chiropractic examination, report of findings and first adjustment. (X-rays not included)
Spinal X-rays – $25.00 per image – Specific Postural Spinal x-rays only as needed
Normal Adjustment and Office Visit Fees
Adjustments $40.00 – Individual Per Visit Adjustment Visit Fee (Not Allison Chiropractic Wellness Plan- see below for available program)
Allison Chiropractic Wellness Program
Fee of $ 79.00 per month Receive up to 4 (four) chiropractic adjustments per month. Any additional visits are $ 12 per visit. This is a month to month agreement that runs from the first day of the month to the last day of the same month.
Spinal X-rays – $25.00 per image – Specific Postural Spinal x-rays only as needed
You may add family members to this plan at a $ 10 discount per person ( 2nd family member $69/month, 3rd and any other members $ 59.00 /month.)
With participation in this plan you will not receive any receipts for services and may not submit any receipts to any insurance carrier, not will Allison Chiropractic do paperwork on any patient on the Wellness Plan. There will be no refunds for, or accumulation of unused visits.
